You can't be present if you're busy judging yourself every moment.
You know that voice in your head that says: "Not good enough... do better... you messed it up"?
That's not mindfulness. That's your inner critic.
Today, we meet it - not to fight it, but to disarm it with kindness.
Practice: Close your eyes and listen for the voice of your inner critic. What does it sound like? What does it say? Now imagine speaking to it like a scared child. Say gently: 'I see you. I know you're trying to protect me. But I'm okay.'
